Google Duo set to launch Zoom-like invite feature in video calls

Google is set to launch new features on thier video calling application Google Duo to give a tough competition for their rivals Zoom. The new feature will allow the hosts of the video calls to send an invite to other members by sharing an invite link.

Google Duo App version 89 and 91 already got server side update for this feature that enables user to use this feature from their mobile applications.

Users can use this feature by adding atleast one person to a group call. Once done they can copy the invite link by clicking on copy icon. On the other hand, user has to click on the invite link to join the group call. On clicking link, they will be redirected to Google Duo Application. Users can also invite a person during the call if someone should be added to meeting midway within the call.

Recently, Google introduced other feature called “Family Made” that enables users to doodle on video calls. To use this feature, users have to start a group call, tap on the menu icon, and finally tap on family icon to start using it.
